The Lucidea Base and module I Automated Slide Processors (Amersham Pharmacia Biotech) allows environmentally controlled automated pretreatment, non-static hybridization, and stringency washing of up to 12 microarray slides at a time. Hybridizations are performed in independently temperature-controlled chambers, allowing customized process parameters to be used for each slide.
